How the lineup builder works
Build a football starting lineup in seconds. Load any club with one tap or a quick search and you get its latest real lineup, formation, shirt numbers, captain, nationality flags and kit colours. From there you can change everything.
- Load a team: tap one of the big clubs above the pitch or search any team by name. You can also start from an empty pitch and type your own players.
- Pick a formation: 12 formations, from 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 to 3-5-2 and 5-3-2. Players move to their new positions automatically.
- Change players: tap a player to see replacements from the squad for that exact position, or drag him to swap places with a teammate, move him anywhere on the pitch, or send him to the bench.
- Smart Lineup: one tap picks the strongest lineup for your formation, based on each player’s position and how often he has played recently. The lineup check tells you if a spot is empty or a player is out of position.
- Save and share: download a 1080×1350 image for Instagram, X and WhatsApp, copy a share link, or save your lineups on this device.
Frequently asked questions
QIs the lineup builder free?
Yes. It is completely free, there is no sign-up and no limit on how many lineups you create, save or share.
QWhere do the real lineups come from?
When you load a team, the builder uses the starting lineup, formation and kit colours from the club’s most recent match in our database, plus the current squad with shirt numbers, positions and nationalities.
QHow do I replace a player?
Tap the player on the pitch. You get a list of squad players for the same position, with players from other positions one tap away. You can also type any name by hand.
QHow do I add substitutes?
Tap the + button under the pitch, drag a player from the pitch to the bench, or use “Add to bench” in the player card. Smart Lineup fills the bench for you.
QWhat does Smart Lineup do?
Smart Lineup looks at the loaded squad and picks, for every spot in your formation, the player in that position who has played the most recently. It also picks a captain and a bench. You can then change anything you like.
QHow do I share my lineup?
Use “Share link” to copy a link that opens exactly your lineup, or “Download image” to get a picture ready for social media. On phones you can share the image directly.
QAre my saved lineups stored online?
No. Saved lineups stay in your browser on this device. To move a lineup to another device, open its share link there.
QCan I build a national team or a dream team?
Yes. Search a national team, or start from an empty pitch and add any players you want from different clubs by searching their names.
